What exactly is Doolmotion?
Doolmotion is a skill you add to Claude. It turns Claude into a video editor and motion designer: give it footage, a voiceover, a script or a product page, describe what you want, and it plans the edit, animates it, adds captions and sound, and renders the final video.
Do I need video-editing experience?
No. You describe the video in plain words — in any language — and Claude does the editing. If you are an editor, you can steer every scene, shot and transition in detail.
What do I need to run it?
Claude with skills support (for example Claude Code or the Claude desktop app) on your computer. Rendering happens locally, and the install guide walks you through the one-time setup.
